Ring in the Lunar New Year with this family friendly performance!
On Saturday, February 6, 2016, the Lunar New Year Festival celebrates the Year of the Monkey. The New York Chinese Cultural Center's celebration at the Winter Garden will feature a lively parade led by dragon and lion dances followed by a full line-up of performances including traditional dances combined with contemporary music, gravity-defying acrobatics, and festive musical and theatrical ensembles in full traditional make-up and regalia. Over 3000 audience members, including tourists from all over, students, families, workers, professionals, and local residents will enjoy this large scale public event in this unique space and take in the vibrant energy of this inspiring production.
